The start of any journey is filled with excitement, anticipation, and no small amount of paralyzing fear. But, this project has come about as a way to share stories and find ways to manage “the worst of times” that all of us face at one time or another. This purpose helps to open the journey to others, which gives it more meaning than one person’s perspective could hope to communicate.
This project is for everyone who puts it on the line everyday for the people they love: moms, dads, brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles, grandparents, military personnel and their families, communities – everyone.
Sure, there are reasons why I’m beginning this project, and yes, there are goals, ideas, and fervent hopes built into it. The start of any journey begins with one, but by necessity, the process brings in friends, teachers, foes, trials, lessons, victories, and transformations. One thing I promise is 100% earnest and honest work to help make this project work.
Journey’s don’t happen if you just stay put. And they rarely happen alone.
